Trip of Turkish school to Cappadoccia
Our school, Yusuf Ziya Öner High School of Science, organized a 3 day – trip to volcanic places like Cappadoccia area, Isparta Lake Gölcük and Konya with our 40 students and 3 teachers to examinate and search about volcanoes around Turkey. During this trip surface figures which was caused by the volcanic erruptions on Hasandağ, Melendiz and Mount Erciyes were observed. The geological formations, surface figures, flora – fauna and social – cultural lives is searched. Also students sent their photos to the competition which was organized during the trip. It was a pleasure to see that our students were interested in this competition. We gave the prizes to the students who were chosen first, second and third .
